I never trusted a woman (I don’t trust people, in general), but I learned to trust my wife. I learned everything I knew about love; it wasn’t automatic; lightning never struck from the sky to enlighten me. I often realised love the hard way, but sometimes the toughest tests bring the most rewarding answers. I see commitment as multiple decisions made over and over again. It’s an illusion to believe it’s something you do once, and it stays forever — fam, even tattoos ain’t permanent. Commitment is a bit like a car engine; imagine a rusty ass beat up Audi engine that needs checking and topping up on a regular. Did you expect to find loyalty without investing in the search for it?

I can say for real; there is never a perfect time or situation to commit to a person. No alarm tells you it’s time to wake up and decide; there aren’t ideal seasons or weather conditions. Father time isn’t going to baby you. Some people learned to walk while their age mates crawled. Some are ready before others…
