There are many routes to a man’s heart,

There is no map, app or GPS to guide you to a man’s heart because it is not a straight route. Very few men have put one foot in front of the other and taken the perilous path to their emotions. Shit, I was no different. I met my wife thinking; I already knew what made me happy.

People think men ignore how they feel, but a person’s heart is a maze. It’s easy to get lost trying to find some emotions. In the maze, the ‘necessary’ emotions — like anger and pride — stand at the entrance with large signposts. While emotions like love or commitment hide away in the alleys, lurking in the shadows, springing up on you. We don’t search for these emotions; some are like strangers you rarely meet, and others you bump into like a friend you haven’t seen for years.

Mandem, one day you might have to make a decision, not an easy one (the right person will make it easier), but an important one. It’s the decision — or choice, depending on how you look at it —  to decide what makes you happy.
